  This class is designed for students 6th grade through 12th grade students. During this course you will be learning about our troubled Earth, all the problems we are facing and changes we need to make for a better future.

  Instead of traditional lecture, you will be learning most of the background information through research and exploration of the internet. You will also have videos, Power Point slides, Prezi presentations, Web 2.0 tools and other online resources. You will be held accountable of learning all of the material and assigned readings and will demonstrate mastery through projects, presentations, and debates.
  
  While you may set your own study pace depending on personal circumstances, you should try to complete lectures and readings within the assigned week, in order to prepare for projects in a timely manner.
